Islamabad: The public authority has given a serious electric shock to individuals who are going through a lot of expansion. The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has expanded the cost of power by Rs7.91 per unit.


NEPRA has expanded the fundamental power levy by Rs7.91 paise from the past normal of Rs16.91. Following the new increment, the public typical power levy has gone up to Rs 24.82 per unit. The explanation given by NEPRA for expanding the cost of power is that the rupee is deteriorating and worldwide oil costs are rising.

NEPRA says that the price tag of energy is supposed to be Rs. 1152 billion, limit cost including NTDC and HVDC is assessed at Rs. 1366 billion. Disk's income is assessed at about Rs. 2805 billion, disk transmission and conveyance misfortunes have been decreased from 13.46 to 11.70%.
