ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen has said that main two billion new duties have been forced on the average person in the smaller than expected financial plan.

Sugar, flour, ghee, electricity, mutton and beef are expensive while chicken, lentil mash, lentils, eggs, tomatoes are cheaper.

Conversing with media later the entry of the scaled down financial plan, he said that 343 billion duty discounts were changed in the smaller than usual financial plan. Charge exclusion of Rs 112 billion on apparatus has been abrogated. Charges on composts, farm vehicles and old garments were not permitted to be required. 

The IMF had discussed Rs 700 billion in charges in March. He let the IMF know that duty won't be imposed on charges. 160 billion expense exception on drugs has been annulled. 2 billion expense exception has been annulled.


He said that the independence of the organizations was remembered for the PTI Manifesto. The public authority has not taken an advance from the SBP for the last more than two years. The power of the SBP will be with the board. The administrator of the leading group of legislative heads of the SBP will support it. We gave independence to the parliament
