Lahore: Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan has been nominated by the ICC for the best T20 cricketer of the year award.

According to private TV ARY News, Muhammad Rizwan, who won 1326 runs in a year, five Man of the Match, four Player of the Series awards, is a strong candidate for ICC T20 Player of the Year. The other batsman could not even come close. No Indian player is in the race so it is likely that Indians will also votz.

This year, Mohammad Rizwan played well and won matches for Pakistan and received the most awards. Rizwan scored 1326 runs in a year and is the only batsman to score more than 1000 runs in the T20 calendar year. Rizwan's name has already been written on the T20 Cricketer of the Year award.
