FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2022 ) :The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) coordinated a goat mela here on Friday.
UAF representative said that countless goat darlings crowded to appreciate goat mela which was organized consistently in front of Eidul Azha.
In this mela, goat weight and magnificence rivalries were organized in weight challenge, goat of Farrukh Ijaz having a place with Gujranwala won initial two situations with a load of 327 kg and 297 kg while goat of Rashid Melsi from Multan stood third with 296 kg weight.
In Teddy Goat (Pure and Cross) rivalries, Adeel Butt's (Gujranwala) goat secured first situation with 132 kg weight while Farrukh Ijaz's goat with 130 kg weight was proclaimed second and Zahid Butt (Lahore) goat with 119 kg weight stayed third.
In the goat magnificence rivalry, the goat of Barkat Magsi started things out though the goat of Sheik Wasim from Gujranwala stood second and the goat of Zahid Butt from Lahore was announced third.
Circulating awards among the position holders in a conventional function, Dean Faculty of Animal Husbandry Dr. Qamar Bilal said that the college was going to all potential lengths to reinforce ties among ranchers and agri specialists.
He said that International Goat and Bull Association gifted the best type of bison to UAF which would be utilized for research purposes too.
Affiliation Chairman Ata Gujjar expressed that in the goat weight challenge, first position holder was granted monetary reward of Rs.700,000 while the second position holder got Rs. 300,000 and third spot champ Rs. 150,000.
