Meetings start for new NAB executive, names of Qamar-ul-Zaman, Bashir Memon, Fawad Hassan Fawad considered

ISLAMABAD: Consultations have begun between the public authority and the resistance on the arrangement of Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB). Resistance pioneer Raja Riaz has approached Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

 As per sources, the public authority has chosen to choose a resigned civil servant as executive NAB rather than a resigned judge, for which three names have been at first counseled. Previous administrator Fawad Hassan Fawad, previous NAB director Qamar-ul-Zaman and previous DG FIA Bashir Memon are in the running for NAB executive. As indicated by Riyadh, the director of the NAB will be named before June 2, however no ultimate choice has been made at this point.
