Three arrested, including DG KDA, on corruption charges

The Anti-Corruption Department arrested three persons including Director General Karachi Development Authority (DGKDA) in the Nusla Tower case.

According to a statement issued by anti-corruption officials, three persons have been arrested in connection with land grabbing in Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Korangi. They include DG KDA Asif Memon and Additional Director Industries Atif Lamba. The government had received several complaints regarding DG KDA, the anti-corruption department is investigating further aspects.

On the other hand, according to private TV Geo News, DG KDA has been arrested in the Nusla Tower case. The Supreme Court has directed the anti-corruption department to take action against those responsible in the Nasla Tower case, after which the police also conducted raids at several places.
